Pro­fes­sional doc­u­men­tary pho­tog­ra­phy is a work of cre­ation and the respect of the roy­al­ties is para­mount for the main­te­nance of image qual­ity. News­pa­per and mag­a­zine are hav­ing less money and too often are we asked to sign trans­fers of roy­al­ties. The doc­u­men­tary pho­to­jour­nal­ism is impor­tant in order to tes­tify and doc­u­ment the real­ity of our soci­ety, but it requires com­pe­tences, expen­sive equip­ment and time.
